WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND HOW DO WE USE IT?
The information we collect helps us personalize, improve, and deliver the Lithium Services. Below is a breakdown of what we collect and how it's used:
1. Contact Information
If you create an account or sign up for updates, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and username. We use this to communicate with you, manage your account, and send important updates. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time, although we may still contact you for critical account-related matters.
2. Financial Data via Plaid
We use Plaid to securely connect to your financial accounts. This allows us to access transaction-level data needed to power our credit card recommendation engine. Importantly:
We do not store raw transaction data.
We extract and store aggregated insights, such as your spending patterns and category preferences.
These insights, along with your quiz answers, are used to recommend the best credit cards tailored to your lifestyle.
You acknowledge and agree that your use of Plaid is subject to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy.
3. Quiz Answers
Our quiz collects information about your lifestyle, financial preferences, and goals. We combine your quiz answers with Plaid-derived insights to recommend personalized credit card products that align with your profile.
4. Browser and Device Data
We and our service providers automatically collect device and browser information (e.g., IP address, cookies, interaction data) when you use our website. This helps us detect fraud, prevent abuse, and improve site performance.
